"We have nothing to fear but fear, itself".
I fear the fear has permeated the program.
Afraid to throw it over the middle... afraid to throw it to the tight ends... afraid to throw it on 3rd and 7... afraid to throw more than three passes in half...
What does it tell your QB, no slouch when it comes to talent, that you're afraid of what he might do?
Kill the fear. Play the damn game.

Should be heard by all negative fans. Unfortunately, these fans will never listen. I feel better about the whole QB situation now. Les will still do what most of us expect he shouldn't, but it could be worse. Looking forward to watching Brandon continue to grow as he hands the ball off to our great running backs. Just make yourself listen to this interview. Very good interviewee also.

Nah, he gave good reason why it's being avoided with a new QB. Spoke about it being much easier to see throwing outs instead of more complicated routes/passes from TE's. Less likely for INT's.
I certainly understand what the coaching staff is trying to do but this only highlights the fact our offense should be using spread concepts almost exclusively. The pro style I formation concepts will not work unless you can throw the ball over the middle of the field. Have to get the safeties out of the box.

THIS? Coming from YOU???!!!! REXIE, do you not see the stupidity and folly of these words coming from you?? That is like the current turd in the White House (who you love to fellate) calling Jimmy Carter a bad President.
Rex, you are so completely pathetically stupid it defies any logic in this dimension. Please go back to making a stupid fool out of yourself on the Political Board. Please quit publicly identifying yourself as an LSU fan. It is shameful and brings a bad rap to this proud University.

exactly, both are young QB's and are going to make mistakes, but they will make more if you constantly put them in bad situations. Better to go to the spread and let them throw on early downs.

Agree. More than anything else that is holding us back it is the ghosts of '08. They haunt Les. And because of that, our passing game only reaches about 40% of capacity if that.
We don't need another OC, OL coach, QB, 5* recruit, . . . or HC. What we need is for Les to use the great talent he's recruited. We have a TE who's a mismatch for almost every LB in the SEC and he seldom sees the field. Don't make an event of it just make a another routine part of the offense.
