That is about the only knock I have on Burrow. He looks for Jefferson far too much sometimes. Opposing teams know this. The good thing is we have 3 other receivers in Chase, Marshall, and Moss (who I think may be a key difference against Bama).

Need Sullivan in this game also. Seams and jump balls. Still need rb screens. More swings.

Had White played it would have been 0-0 or 0-3 at the half.

LSU D-line has to get to the QB period if they can't it will be a repeat with LSU scoring more points then in the past 10 years but still coming up short.

Hoping the LSU coaches see this as a good idea. Go win the game instead of trying not to lose it.

The defense will be just fine. As is always the case it will come down to LSU’s offense.

If my memory serves me right, I believe Bama almost had 600 yards of offense. It was just a slow and methodical beating. They weren’t as explosive as they were against other teams, but let’s not be mistaken they controlled the entire game. The game was never in doubt.

This year feels different though. It’s the first time in years that LSU will have a pulse on offense in this game.

The key is scoring that first touchdown and possibly taking a lead in the game! O and E haven't gotten off the schneid vs Bama and if the Tigers score that will go a long, long way toward building confidence and ending the d*^m Bama curse.

Last years game should give you confidence in our ability to win this years game.

Our dline is better and deeper than last year.
Bama’s is significantly worse.

Our LBs (when you add Chaisson and delete White...who didn’t play the first half in this game) are probably a wash...about the same.
Bama’s LB are worse in the middle and better outside. Let’s be generous and call it a wash as well.

Our DBs better outside...Stingley is better than Greedy...worse at safety maybe in coverage. Battle was a good player in this defense.
Bama’s is better there with the return of Diggs.

Every part of our offense is better.
The Bama offense is different...maybe better...but they played one of their worst games against us. No offensive explosion. They wore down a defense that was on the field too much. They don’t run the ball anywhere near as well. That was huge in that game.

Everything about last year vs this year say we are better and they are the same or worse.

If they score 29 pts next Saturday I think we win.

...and if we hadn’t sucked so bad on offense last year...they wouldn’t have come close to scoring 29 pts
