"Revenge is a Dish Best Served Purple and Gold"
In the pit of the stomach, in the depths of the soul
There lies a fire burning out of control
Kept closely guarded so as not to consume
Like a ageless knight guards a sacred tomb
For in that fire dwells a beast of hate
It snarls at its fetters, it claws at the gate
It longs for the day it will be unbound
To quench the fury that will not be drowned
Now comes the day so long awaited
When gumps in droves are tiger baited
Embraced again is the timeless feud
Tribalism once more renewed
Be sure, this day of reckoning
For years of it, Shall tigers sing
Of justice done, of vengeance claimed
Of weeping legions of tide fans shamed
Of deafening roars from a Tiger crowd
Of mighty Saban beat and cowed
Of merciless hits that resounding crack
Of a crimson tide that's beaten back
For four frantic quarters let fury flood
Death Valley with cries for Bama blood
'Til the last second ticks and the taunts are hushed
Let every gump therein be crushed
From the depths of that pit raise a glorious shout!
To rattle the earth and leave no trace of doubt!
And let it be a tale that's for ages told
