Seems 18 has been fine. 7 has been a disaster.

Agree

Neither #7 nor #18 care enough about their team to do what it takes to finish the season strong!

That’s not showing team leadership.

I AGREE that fans put too much thought into this.

This has to be the final nail in the coffin for 7. I honestly don’t know why they ever took it away from the DB’s and started giving it to overrated, unproven WR’s though. Went from being a Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu thing to a Jonathan Giles, DJ Chark, and Kayshon Boutte thing. Just let it die already

Hell no. Give them to players that have already earned them.

Boutte had earned them. shite Stingley had earned it. Chase earned it.

It’s the year they get it that falls apart

18 isnt bad. Its more of a leadership position but 7 is stupid. Its given to playmakers who have been either hurt alot or Jonathon Giles lately.

Disagree the players love it. Let them enjoy it.

Watch. Everyone in agreement that these traditions are dumb (they are) will magically forget and go back to thinking it's a big deal come spring.

I honestly don't think they give a shite. They're numbers.

I promise you those guys love the traditions. It’s a big deal in that lockeroom. Just because you don’t give a shite doesn’t mean those guys don’t. As you said it’s just numbers why do you actually give a shite?

Hey bud, you said it was only a DBU tradition until they started giving it to random, unproven wide receivers.
