Where would they propose to set up on the LSU campus?

Awesome business concept. I know I'm not the only one thinking "why didn't I think of that?"

I plan to check these guys out next season.

do you only do season packages or will you do game by game set-ups?

travel too much for work and only make 3 or 4 games a year.

We plan to setup at the Parade Grounds. Thanks for the compliments on our setups at MSU. That area was virtually unused on Gameday until we started setting up there and it is now occupied by over 2,000 fans. We can do individual games, but they area bit more expensive starting at $900 and you would probably do better buying a season package if you were going to make 3-4 games and let some of your friends use your tent for the other games.

I'm guessing you're taking into account the $50/game trailer fee?

Also...take our spot and you will pay.

Lastly, LSU requires a license to operate any business on campus at anytime. Good luck getting that as well.

they wouldn't be parking, just setting up and then moving along...why would there be a fee?

Also, I don't think they need a license to set up and take down tailgates...I have used caterers, had tents put up and taken down, and had kegs delivered to my tailgate spot...three different companies...did they all require permits?

Do I require a permit when I am on campus and telling people to go to my website?

My apologies, I thought every tailgate came with a trailer. Regardless, there isn't anywhere to unload on gameday for the Parade Ground without hauling stuff across highland road if you are trying to avoid the fee.

The website says the tailgates are staffed all day. One tailgate could get away with this, but 20 in a row...LSU will notice and require a permit.

Technically, yes.

ETA: I'm not trying to discourage this service. Its a great idea and a few of us have thought about doing something similar. I'd rather him go through all the proper channels so nothing wrong happens on gameday next year.

I'm not really sure how to quote things to address them, but we have taken these issues into account Golfer, thanks for looking out for us. We are a tailgating rental company that provides setup and takedown of the rented equipment. As for the staff on hand, they will simply be there to watch over the equipment to make sure it doesn't "walk off". We are not there to setup a tailgate and then bring people in to rent it on gameday like they are visiting a carnival ride. The equipment is rented prior to the season and we simply provide the complimentary setup and takedown. We are not there to take anyone's tailgating spot, simply trying to provide an easier (hassle-free) way to tailgate.

Sounds like a great enterprising concept. Awesome might be a better word for us old folks too old to set up and haul off etc. Wife would rather sit in tent and watch the game then trek over to the stadium so the grandkids get her seat. :)

We will be on Campus tomorrow for the Auburn game if anyone wants to check out our setups and/or tailgating trailer in person.

very cool to see these folks serving the LSU community now...
yep..they do a great job in starkville and oxford. It's really not a bad deal at all, and like he said you can add to your package. Of course, I am wondering what people in BR would think about me for having them hang a chandelier in my tent! hahaha...I could at least have a little ole miss tradition with me down there! lol

The people that I know that uses them in Starkville are really pleased with them. They are right across from the SAE and KA houses and you can drop off within a few feet of your tent.

We are starting off with a bang at LSU selling 5 of our 20 spots in just a few weeks. Looking forward to brining our premium setups to the great LSU Fans!
