My prediction for next years lineup:

F Trendon Watford 6'9 fr.(if we can lure him away from Memphis)
F Emmitt Williams 6'8 so.
G Skyler Mayes 6'4 sr.
G Andre Hyatt 6'5 RSfr.
G jaVontae Smart 6'4 so.

Off the bench:
G Marlon Taylor 6'6 sr.
F Darrius Days 6'8 so.
F Raymond Hawkins 6'9 fr.
G James Bishop 6'2 fr.
F Charles Manning 6'5 fr. (Likely redshirt)
F Courtese Cooper 6'8 RSso.

Gone:
Bigby-Williams (European league; graduation)
Naz Reid (NBA)
Daryl Edwards (no medical redshirt or transfer?)
Tremonte Waters (NBA)

Folks, Naz is one and done. NBA drafts on potential...not stats.

Either/or. One will be a spark off bench. I think Hyatt has more offensive talent.

He needs low post up refinement to improve his NBA stock.

I remember when Shaq was a freshman and he had the similar issues lacking a refined low post game, but ran the floor like a hyper athletic gazelle at a similar size back then to Naz is now. The summer before his soph year, Dale Brown brought in Bill Walton as a private coach to tutor him in the fine art of playing in the low post. Transformed Shaq into the most intimidating NCAA low post player the next year and the rest was history.

It would be awesome if now Shaq gave Naz a similar tutelage experience this summer and he chose to stay one more year.

Wade is still recruiting hard right now and trying to land some big men. Look to see if we get these guys or at least a couple of them.

Kahdim Sy- 6-10, 240lbs out of Florida
Started out at Va. Tech then went JUCO

Trendon Watford - 6-9, 230lbs 5* from Alabama

The long shots are Charles Coleman 7-0, 220lbs 3* from Massachusetts and Qudus Wahab 6-10, 230lbs 3* from Virginia

It isnt the NBA. Most college teams do just fine with 6’9 guys and 6’10 guys inside. Bigby williams and Naz are nice to have this season so lets enjoy it.

Marlon Taylor is a starter. No way in hell he is coming off the bench next year.

F Emmitt Williams 6'8"
F Darrius Days 6'8"
G Marlon Taylor 6'6"
G Skyler Mayes 6'4"
G JaVontae Smart 6'4"

Next year, this would be lightning.

Yeah no way in hell Waters nor Naz comes off bench either, right? Short-sighted much? Some of the best players come off bench? You mean to tell me Brian Bashera was better than Ronald Dupree?

Andre Hyatt is a shooter. A natural scorer. I love Marlon. He is a difference maker. But we got him for his defense. Hes still gonna play 20 min.

I think Naz should stay another year to improve his draft stock.

You think a RS freshman is going to take over Taylor's role as a starter?

Smart does not have near the handles as waters. You can't even compare the two players. If smart can develop his dribbling then yes but they are not the same by a long shot. We need a slasher.

Emmitt is 6’6.

It is spelled Skylar Mays.

It is spelled Javonte.

I expect Taylor to make a big jump on offense. He shot 44% from 3 last year in JUCO. He’s also still really green and hasn’t come close to reaching his potential.
