Replace Clyde with a former LSU RB on the 2019 team:

I would suggest Dalton Hilliard. He could make people miss.
Would also be interesting to watch LF7 or Charles Alexander punish teams from the spread. This would, admittedly be a different role.

I can't escape the conclusion that no one would be better. Not sure we've ever seen a more all purpose back than Clyde. Of course that was all by design.

Guice would have been unstoppable in this offense.

We went undefeated and won a championship. No need to replace him.
It would be fun to see Kevin Faulk in a modern spread attack offense.

I think Clyde was the best type of RB for this offense. He was a perfect complement to the passing game as a runner, pass catcher, and pass blocker.
But if I can just throw any RB on here, give me Fournette. He wouldn’t complement the passing game as much but my god Id love to see what he would have done when defenses didn’t key on him and he mainly got handed the ball against a 5 or 6 man box

Which former LSU rb could pass block like Clyde? Too me that skill was equally as important as his running game and pass catching game

The answer is Dalton or Alleyezon3

How the hell did you get downvoted five times for suggesting Dalton Hilliard?
fricking Millenials
GEAUX use YouTube to watch that man, and rethink that downvote.

Kevin Faulk. Fast, elusive, smart and the best hands on any back that has come through LSU.

To be fair which LSU offense had a passing attack like 2019 that required a high ceiling pass block.

Kevin Faulk was the same kind of player for the patriots. Faulk would have been box office in this offense.

Clyde would be a perfect fit for the Chiefs next year. He’s an elite all purpose back and that’s what Andy Reid wants

My god Guice would go fricking nuts in this offense.

Jeremy Hill or Guice. Jeremy was a really good pass catcher

The downvotes are for a shite thread suggesting Clyde Edwards-Helegend be replaced.
