And Jimbo, too. Actually Jimbo totally has sucked arse at FSU considering he has been there 6-7 years now. He obviously had influence as "coach in waiting"

I remember people losing their shite when it was reported that Pelini would have been the likely replacement for Les if he had left for Michigan in 2010/11.

I also remember people wanting Pelini gone after Arkansas in 2007.

not me. He'd never proven himself as head coach.

and still hasn't.

Stop with that. Jumbo is responsible for his head coaching time only. You go try to run an organization from the #2 spot.

Yes, it was bizarre that those morons were pumped up hearing he was on the list to replace miles. Tards everywhere on here

I don't remember it!

Any fans who wanted Pelini as our head coach have shite for brains.

I don't think he was that great of a DC much less head coach.

Nobody knows what Pelini may have done here. You and I might be able to coach LSU with the talent given. If Les did it, just imagine.

I don't know? Nobody can say for sure but I would find it interesting to see how several coaches would do in the LSU job. What could they do with this recruiting base and resources? It would be interesting to see what Patterson could do maybe Brian Kelly. There are a few other names that would make it interesting as well. The LSU job has a lot to offer.

It doesn't matter. They just replace each flavor of the month with another one. In their mind there are always 20 or so coaches out there that can do a better job. When most of those 20 slip, they are replaced by another group.

Pelini is a fraud. Year 5 at Nebraska and his defense is as bad as any I`ve ever seen at this level.

Pelini's D does get torched occassionally by a team, remember Arkansas in 07 when McFadden and company ran roughshod on us?

I thought Pelini's defensive scheme at LSU was overrated anyway.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

That is why he had the #3 rated D in 05, 06 and 07?

His debacles against UK and Arky in 2007 were astronomical with the talent on that defense.

You forget about the injuries? or the game management? figures. How fitting.

Yep. You can climb right off your couch and recruit the same types of players Les gets. You can make the same type of hires and handle all of the pressure with just as much poise as Les. There is about $4 million per year waiting on you to get off of your arse and help out this program.

I get it. LSU wins 10 games a year just because they are LSU. That's why we were so good in the 90s.

What makes you think LSU is immune to the same downward spiral that Florida, USC, Michigan, Nebraska, Alabama, and others have suffered in their past after ditching winning coaches for "greener" pastures?? Perhaps you should read this...

Bo along with many others who have failed miserably. Thank God the Haters have no influence whatsoever. Our leadership knows we have a great coach.
