OH LOOK GANG! THE FIRST NUT IS BACK!!! And as usual he is full of shite.
Corey Raymond is a BAD on field coach. This isn’t a secret. I said he is a good to great recruiter. I gave him credit for that but NIL killed everything with recruiting.

Got to have money to get the players. Then you have to coach them. Raymond thought he was DC material and he can’t even coach his own unit worth a damn.
Daniels put up an NCAA RECORD versus UF including 350+ on those DBs and dumbasses like you are defending him.’

Yeah, he sucked in him 10 years as DB coach at LSU - the most prolific DB years of the school. We should judge him for is time under an out-manned HC in Sun Belt Billy.

You're a dolt.

Really?
He was demoted in 2017 you DOLT.

Ron Cooper built DBu including PP7, Mo Claiborne, TM7, and on and on. Raymond inherited that group in 2012. Read the resumes of the DCs he worked under during that time. Include reading Bill Bausch and Aranda. Once Aranda and Bausch left the DB play went to shite. He was then scrambling to find a job.
UF fired his arse because he is a Bad db on filed coach.

Don’t come here with bull shite you have ZERO proof of.

This statement probably deserves its own thread. I like Coop, but he inherited a good bit of talent as well (PP, Ron Brooks, Brandon Taylor as well as guys we’d pretty much had in the bag as recruits like Loston and Mo).

It’s Busch. And he was still here in 2020 when the DB play sucked. It’s weird how how never catches any flack for either his coaching or recruiting (see Toles and Derrick Davis). People say Raymond got demoted, but never critique the Safeties coaches.

All that said, I’d be cool to have the Raymond/ Busch combo again. Busch got fired at Nebraska and is not coaching at last check.

Can’t find that he coached this year either, but dolts like 1988 say he’s the best.

So long since we were even close to this… smh

Four years isn’t that long. We had Grant Delpit, Kristian Fulton, Derrick Stingley, Jacoby Stevens, Jay Ward and Cordall Flott.

Hell, if you're just doing on-roster talent, 2021 was:

Sting
Eli Ricks
Flott
Jay Ward
McGlothern
Sage
Cam Lewis
Jordan Toles
Derrick Davis

Couple 5 stars, and a lotta 4 stars. First 4 are in the NFL, McG should be there soon. Just a bunch of "personnel issues"

And if we're being honest, you had a some of that same type of stuff with the guys in the OP's pic (guys not quite living up to rankings, transfers, etc). Just not to the extent of things in 2021.

What I wouldn't give for Tre White and a player to be named later from that photo.

Cam Lewis would start for this team, hopefully we’ll get back to the top soon.

It would be an embarrassment to bring back CR after being canned by Sun Belt Billy.

Yall remember how god awful the Secondary was in 2020 and 2021. (DC Bo Pelini in 20. DC Daronte Jones in 21) Raymond was the DB Coach in both years.

Once Aranda and Busch departed after the 2019 NC, Raymond was totally clueless on what to do.

No Raymond. No Cooks. No Steeples.

Ron Cooper is the HC at tiny Long Island University. The DBU Founder would probably come back to LSU in a "New York Minute" if contacted. Get him and Bill Busch back in here. (Busch is at Nebraska)

Once again, Busch was here in 2020. And he was fired from Nebraska after 2022.
