This was when they were expecting the hurricane to gain strength then head east, dumping rain in SELA.

So... given the information available, they weren't really off base.

It's almost like predicting weather is imprecise or something.

The NHC never predicted Harvey to gain much strength in the GOM once it left Texas.

And models were all over the place, but by Wednesday it was obvious the storm had dried out a ton over La. and while rain was forecast still to come it was nothing compared to what Texas and West La. Received.

Right??? The nerve of them not to know what a hurricane would do.

I mean, they should know the future if they're going to talk about the possible implications of decisions regarding weather, right?

The Astros are playing the first game of a double header at 1:00 pm Saturday in Minutemaid Park. This was decided Wednesday.

Well you can only make a decision based on the information you have at the time. It's always a gamble
