Remember when???? LSU Baseball Edition

- Remember when people here said Pap was not good enough to play on this baseball team?
- Remember when people here said CPM had no clue what he was doing, and it was time for him to go?
- Remember when people here said Gibbs was a stupid hire, and should be fired because this team could not hit?
- Remember when people here said that LSU would struggle to make a regional?
- Remember when people said this team just wasn't good, because they lost a couple mid week games?
Where are these people now?

He may have said it, but I never saw it. I believe what he said was that we couldn't get into the top 8 in RPI (he may have just been talking about the regular season too).

the ultimate "i told you so" thread.
and i'll bet that EVERY ONE OF THOSE "PEOPLE HERE" ARE FINE WITH YOU MAKING YOUR "BETTER THAN THOU" BOASTS. you see, they are LSU fans too and they were merely making comments on what they saw out of this team during the regular season ebb and flow of play. you won't see that in a lot of programs because they don't have that many fans that give a shite.

It's funny how short people's memory is. Wasn't it just last year we basically had the same success down the stretch only to lose at home in the super. This teams goal is national championship. Anything less than a strong outing in Omaha will be deemed a failure

Way to act like I said LSU still had a lot of work left to do. I had LSU safely as a national seed. As of yesterday I only had 4 teams as "locks." Today I have seven teams as "locks." Just because I don't use the term "lock" as loosely as others, doesn't mean I ever thought LSU wouldn't get a national seed.

It's fake news. I never said we couldn't or wouldn't get a top 8 seed. I have numerous posts saying it was still possible. I also never said we couldn't get a top 8 RPI. That was a Boyd's World algorithm that only went so far as the regular season.
