Remember the Thayer Evans hit piece on Les and Okie State?

I think it came out in 2013. It was hyped as this big bombshell out of Stillwater. I think it was like a five part series. It was full of unsubstantiated bullshite, and the stuff that may have been true was the same crap that goes on everywhere else.
Not using this to defend Les in light of current news. Today’s article in USA Today just reminded me of that fun several years ago.

The question we should be asking is why does the national media seem to have such a hard on for LSU?
I think it’s because they don’t care who they take down as long as it serves the purpose of helping to continue pushing a very specific narrative and they see an opportunity with weak leaders at LSU.

I agree with you. LSU suffered a wound, and national media wants it to be a death sentence. They won’t let the university have an opportunity to clean things up.

I don’t think there’s anything there to clean up, but I fully expect the university to cower to the national media and engage in a walk of shame.

Y’all are in for a rude awakening.....

Do you even understand the implication of what you’re implying?
I doubt it.

It’s naive to think that as a university we come out of this unscathed, and not just in regards to football.
You could see jail time for certain people directly involved with the women’s tennis situation. Most of the athletic department higher ups are no longer here, but from the board....to compliance....to athletic Dept....to even position coaches. There will be a fallout that most of us aren’t prepared to handle.

I haven’t even begun to handle the fallout of the destruction of our beloved female tennis program!!!

Serious question / no troll, because I don’t know.
But I do know that Title IX (DOE / OCR) can’t throw anyone in jail.

For false testimonies and abuse coverups yes....

It is pretty sad that the tennis program was the lynchpin to bring down our athletic department.....it ultimately comes down to Alleva and the Board for trying to hush everything

They can clean up the compliance dept...doesn’t bother me. Position coaches come and go. If they’re guilty of a coverup, fire them. Is that the fallout?

Multiple year post season bans could also happen
Posted on 2/25/21 at 5:14 am to TechTiger
I’m going to bet that none of that happens except for tennis.

Sjw Scott is showing that he isn’t a strong leader. Sad, we thought we were getting the best but looks like coming home was too much for him.

That ain’t happening, these are post season ban things. Pedo state did much worse got slapped for it and then the NCAA walked it back because it had nothing to do with the NCAA.

What has he done to screw this up? Alleva would have preemptively placed postseason bans on any and all teams for the next 4 years.

Was that the story about how Oklahoma State was pushing recruiting hostesses to "show recruits a good time"?

A meteor could also fall on my house tonight, but it is highly unlikely.
