He is the personification of the entitled, if I don't get what I want I am leaving, mentality that drives anyone in their late 20s and older crazy.
He should've never removed himself from the transfer portal. Him going in the second time and then going on social media and openly asking for rivals to recruit him while he is still on scholarship at LSU is the epitome of ungratefulness and disloyalty.
I don't wish the kid any ill will, but he is where he is right now in life and on the depth chart because of decisions he made, so he needs to accept the consequences.

The fans thought Burrow would start. There were several polls as to who the fans thought should win the starting job (all were about the same results) the one linked below had Burrow winning by 59% to 32%.
The five or six main OSU beat writers, however, campaigned for Haskins from the 2017 Michigan game on. However, Urban Meyer consistently said it was too-close-to-call.
But the OSU beat writers have the loudest voices, and their narrative is what took root on most LSU boards.

Buckeye fans voted 2 to 1 for Burrow. Your attempt to spin that as "they knew Haskins would start" is pathetic.
There are millions of Buckeye fans and a half-dozen beat writers. The millions of fans and the half-dozen beat writers were not in agreement.
And Haskins did fine until he pissed away the Purdue game, and killed any shot at the playoffs.
