Remaining SEC baseball schedule

We all already know it. And all 14 SEC teams are good, but I sure like looking at this:

Other than ALA and AU, you’d have to add up three teams win record together to best our win total....

First five teams we played are 42-29 in conf
Second five are 21-49!

Against the top 8 teams in the league here are the records:
Fla 2-1 (0-0 vs top 7)
LSU 9-5 (7-4 vs top 7)
Ark 3-2 (1-2 vs top 7)
SC 2-2
Vandy 1-1
Tenn 5-6
Kent 1-2
A&M 1-5
Collectively, the other 6 teams in the top half of the standings are 49-13 against the bottom 6. LSU is the only team with a winning record against the top half. LSU should move up once they get to start feasting on the bottom and the other teams finally start playing each other.

Seems kind of a shame our guys will end a great regular season at Georgia.
That place makes The Box look like Yankee Stadium.

I don’t think anyone is predicting five sweeps. But all of those series are winnable, with maybe one sweep, which gets you to 20-9 in the league, which is good enough to win it most years.

Only 1 sweep is on the conservative side. I think we sweep 3 of the 5 remaining series.

I don’t see lsu losing another sec series rest of the way
That would lock up a national seed with Omaha going thru the box for a trip
If they win next five series I would treat sec tourney as nothing more than a tuneup - rest for the pitching staff would be more important at that point
