Brennan will be better. Nothing I saw yesterday reminded me of Anthony Jennings or Brandon Harris. Yes he doesn't have full command yet but it will come. Our Dbs we had a true freshman at one corner a red shirt freshman at the other. Bo has to mix up his coverages Dline is going to get better. Our rotations have to be more defined. Offensive game plan didn't help Myles either. They should have eased him into some easy throws. Comparing him to Joe is not really fair. As a fan base we have control our emotions. 2019 was wonderful. 2020 is going to be a work in progress especially with no spring practice.

There are growing pains and then there is giving up 600 yards passing.

The 2 are not the same.

We should still be able to beat State with “growing pains”

We didn't expect Joe Burrow. We expected the coaches to have a team capable of beating a Miss State team that was an 18 point underdog at one point.

4 & 5 Star athletes all over the fricking field.

When people preach growing pains, I want my tickets for free Deal? Help me grow my savings

Brandon Harris was terrified. Jennings was terrified. Coaching staff has to build his confidence with easy throws. We're are the screens we ran last year. Myles needs to be in the pistol formation where they can play action off of it. He through for over 300 yards. Tell me a time when Brandon Harris or Jennings did that?

What makes it worse is he was terrified of Moo St's defense. What you guys think will happen when he faces Bama, UF and AU's defense? Myles is soft, I don't think you can teach toughness.....

We didn’t need Joe Burrow out there. We could have won with what we got out of our QB yesterday. Pretty crazy how bad our secondary was from the second quarter all the way to the end of the game yesterday. Looked a whole lot worse than third and chavis yesterday

You would not get that excuse or attidude at the University of Alabama. They EXPECT wins.

On defense Bama had freshman at some positions last year and they struggled. We have freshman everywhere in our secondary.

No I understand that but it's the truth. They did struggle last year.

Youthful? A QB that's been here for 4 yrs and was #2 behind a HT Winner for 2 yrs, and apparently didn't learn a f'ing thing is not youthful.

Because sitting/watching is the same as starting huh? Retard.

The amount of down votes to a perfectly rational OP is the very reason this place sucks balls and is full of cry baby, entitled, whiny arse pussies.

And to think some of you are adults? Holy shite man.

Get out of here with that bs. Brennan has been here for 4 years, and beat out twice. If Orgeron thought that Brennan was the answer, they never would have gone after Burrow. You all saw last night why Brennan never came in early during blow outs. If he's not good enough to mop up, he's sure as shite not good enough to start. This is all on Coaching and recruiting. There should be a Sophomore QB at LSU ready to go and there isnt.

Man you guys act like he was he throw for under 150 yards and no touchdowns. I think the issue is we still have burrow in our minds running this offense. He through for 3 touchdowns could have been 4. I realize people are mad that we lost but at least be reasonable.

This is where Brennan's at in his 4th year...Harris and Jennings both started games as true freshmen... hopefully he can get it figured out...Vandy may be his last opportunity

True

However, I expected us to be 3-0 beating MSU, Vandy, and Mizzou while learning on the fly.

People need to stop with this bullshite.

Sure every reasonable fan expect some early struggles.

But FFS, we gave up 600 yards passing. To Mississippi State. With a new QB in his first SEC game.

That IS NOT growing pains. That was terrible game planning, terrible coaching adjustment and what looked like terrible technique taught in camp.
