Unless they show us why he is guilty. Without a doubt guilty.
They owe it to Mr. Jefferson to show that they have a steadfast case or LSU should reinstate Jordan Jefferson now.
All I am seeing out there amounts to sausage. Yes sausage. After seeing what the public evidence is against Mr. Jefferson it seems pretty dam weak. I am looking at some videos that basically say he didn’t do it to in the worst case scenario its sausage. That’s what I see and I am sure most others see the same thing. It’s all ground up and no one knows anything for sure. Now taking that to a jury will get you no conviction from what I have seen in the publicly made case. Sausage is far from guilty.
Show what ya got or LSU should reinstate Jordan Jefferson now. If they show a overwhelming case then keep him off the field but otherwise let the boy play football.
I railed against Ryan Perrilloux for what he did that night at a bar and he was guilty of it. Ryan however did lots of bad things while at LSU and this was near the end of a sting of bad things he did. Jordan Jefferson has been a model student athlete and less a conviction should be treated in the same fashion without overwhelming evidence he did something.

The title of your thread makes me want to punch an infant in the neck.
ETA: You said the word 'sausage' four times in your post. Stop that.

Orrrrr you can be smart, play it safe, and indefinitely suspend him until everything is settled. Which is a good call by Miles whether he likes it or not.

I am sure this is true, but everyone just throws this around as if we know for sure. This is certainly the first issue with JJ of which the public is aware.
You are correct that the statements and video that we have as John Q. Public are not worthy of a conviction, but the BRPD may have quite a bit more than that and they do not have to share any of that with us.

Just putting himself in the position where he could even be considered guilty is enough for me to consider him a bad leader. Was Lee at the bar and watching on the fight or in it? It would appears... no.

I don't know what "sausage" means... can someone shed a bit of light on that one for me?

There's a game to prepare for this week. Let's hope this is the last thin on their mind.

BRPD dropped the ball on this one, but i think it is in everyone's best interests to stay on the safe side and wait until this blows over.

Have you ever seen a college athlete with a pending felony charge EVER be reinstated to the program BEFORE legal matters were settled? Regardless if you feel JJ was wronged, is innocent, whatever, he is not going to be reinstated and shouldn't. That sets a TERRIBLE precedent and would make Les Miles and the athletic department look awful. The NCAA was pretty kind to LSU with the probation hearing and commended LSU on their compliance. Letting JJ play until legal matters are settled, the exact opposite of what is always done, would be a big FU to the NCAA. How swift do you think they'll be with RS and how they'll handle the Lyles situation if JJ is reinstated?
