Didn’t we recruit these 3 kids? What’s wrong with these kids being in the system and letting them develop? Isn’t this what Matt Flynn did? I don’t get for the life of me, how people are ready to jump ship if these kids aren’t Tommy Hodson as soon as they step on campus. Let one of them start, let em develop. Prob would pay big dividends down the road.

I feel like it’s pretty apparent that LSU doesn’t have the ability to develop and coach a qb.

Jarrett Lee

If they aren't ready, don't force it.

Brennan and Narcisse need more time learning, McMillan is serviceable, but I don’t think he will be a world beater.... it is what it is, with any of our 3 current QBs this years record is 7-8 wins, just saying

We stopped doing that at QB a while ago.

Auburn had qbs developing when Cam Newton came for one year. Think that was a mistake? Think Wisconsin regrets Russel Wilson transferring? I’m sure they had QBs in their system then too. You bring in the best players you can. If you have the chance to get an upgrade at QB for 2 years you do it. I wish there was a running back who could transfer and start as well. You wouldn’t complain there I bet.

The reality is that of the 3 qbs we have its very likely only one ever starts for LSU. Maybe 2 of them. But it doesn’t sound like any of them have impressed enough for us to feel comfortable. Orgeron isn’t my choice but if he feels the need to entertain a new QB he has a pretty good reason for that.

McMillan and Breenan are both too frail to take the hits of a season in the SEC

Flynn developed behind Russell...Brennan and Narcisse can develop behind Burrow

Anything less than utter failure is not acceptable to our fans...we thrive on hopelessness and despair. Even before our players have set foot on the field, we conjure up a images of failure just to feed our mindset of misery.

The whole damn attitude is getting really old to me...

I'm not worried. Slinger coached Eric Zeier 30 years ago.

E has coached offense for years. He’s also coached up some good quarterbacks back n the day. He imo should have gotten a shot under miles considering the struggles. I believe he deserves a fair chance before we say he can’t develop qbs

Where the hell have you been the last 10+ years? That hasn't worked for us once.

He'll be an Anthony Jennings clone in every way.

100% agree. It's a total embarrassment.

McMillan's already been here for 3 years. He is what he is. As for the other two, you want us to stink at QB for a couple years while we wait for them?

Horrific way to run a program.

I totally agree except what has Burrow DONE to make anyone go crazy like everyone has over the POSSIBILITY he might come to LSU. He has only thrown 39 passes in live games in 3.5 years at OSU. He was ranked 298 in ESPN 300 in 2015. His only claim to accomplishment is that he looked serviceable in the 2018 spring game where there was no blitz and no contact. So I get that we need bodies at the QB position but I don’t get people acting like we are getting some seasoned QB with an incredible track record of throwing tds and winning games at the college level. So to say he is so much better then what we have in crazy since we know just the same about Burrow as we do about our 3 QBs.

This seems to be a common excuse here at LSU. Not ready yet.

Funny how Kirby throws in a true freshman and he gets them all the way to the NC game and wins the SEC with him. Funny how Saban has put in two true freshmen QB's and both were successful.
