I thought they were outstanding.

but

I especially loved how they let the DB and receivers play and didn't call PI on every little contact. It was the same for both teams and makes watching football better when refs stay out of the game and let the players get after it..

I thought they did a great job, except for the PI against us. That call came out of no where.

On Greedy? I thought it was PI he was holding the receiver all the way down field.

They missed several face masks.

I need to take another look at it then. They only showed a little bit of the replay in the stadium and it didn’t look like he touched him.

That game was officiated exactly how a big college football game should be. You rarely saw the officials.

It was earlier in the route. He let go by the time the blood arrived, iirc.

Definitely PI though

They did a great job. A couple missed calls both ways on face masks and holds but that’s going to happen.

Only two bad ones that jump out were the missed holding on Fehoko that hurt us (they got a first on a sure sack if he wasn’t held) and the generous spot on Burrow’s scramble that hurt UGA (LSU probably punts on 4th and 1.5yds to go).

Head Official is relatively new. He hasn't been "trained" yet. Don't worry they will be injecting the Crimson Tide in him soon.

If you saw on tv it was 100 % a PI. Wasn't even debatable

I saw a few missed holding penalties(on both teams). But let’s face it, holding can be called on every play.

While I agree they missed a few calls I was talking about the way they let them play not not be a factor in the game and seemed consistent for both teams.

I like letting two big boy teams get after each other!

I read dawgnation and they said the refs were terrible with a lot of homecooking and lot of calls going LSU's way.

They said our DBs were holding their WRs on every play, our OL was holding their DBs from passrushing, we were getting favorable spots and the refs didnt take reviews on many calls...lol

UGA DB's were all over LSU receivers as well. The game was officiated very good overall.

I mean the spot on JB run was a horrible spot but I blame Smart and UGA staff for not calling for a review.

Both teams got some calls or no calls.

I didn’t see it once the ball was released, so if it happened should have been holding. The sea of Georgia fans around me all agreed that was a pretty questionable call. Especially considering al, they let pass earlier on both teams.

Could have been at least 2or 3 PIs on each team ear;ire that were worse than the one they called. I like when they let them play but be consistent on what you call.
