apparently it is for you. you have an affinity for "slinger" and cant see that he cant and didnt build this offense. O publicly stated that Brady calls the plays then changed it a week later.

why would he ever state that Brady was calling the plays if it was actually Steve?

showing respect for your friend. you see Ensminger as good ole "slinger" and think admitting that he doesnt call plays is a slight.

so you think Ensminger is calling plays in an offense he cant create? you're saying Brady sat down and taught Ensminger all the terminology?

why did Orgeron 1st say publicly that Brady was making the calls and then change it a week later if Brady wasnt calling plays? only 2 things can be possible. either O doesnt know who is calling offensive plays or he changed it to fit a narrative. he was asked point blank, who is calling plays. he said Brady was.

Earlier this week, Ed Orgeron said that new passing game coordinator Joe Brady is calling the offensive plays but expanded on the play-calling hierarchy during his radio show on Wednesday night.

either O didnt know who calls the plays or switched his stance to fit a narrative.

either way.... it doesnt matter. believe what you want.

Make no mistake, he’s saying it because he wants someone to hire Brady away from LSU.

Ryan Day? I didn't see special play calls with Ohio State this year. I just saw them having success with very talented playmakers. OU does usually have some really good play calling. But LSU dominated them so much this weekend that no play calls mattered.

yes. The entire offense knows the terminology. That’s how this whole thing works.

For Coach E to come out and call the plays he called… somebody was watching over him,” says running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire

quote:

Great job by Steve Ensminger, who's been through a tragedy today, calling the game," Orgeron said. "He's the MVP right now."

Once he was in the press box coaching booth with passing game coordinator Joe Brady, it was total focus and business as usual. “I can’t even begin to think of what he was able to do today with the circumstances,” Brady said. But he did it. And afterwards in a tearful dressing room presentation, Oregron awarded Ensminger the game ball. It was the first game ball Orgeron gave this year. “Coach Ensminger called a great game and we played a great game,” LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss said.

Guess the whole coaching staff and team has been informed to lie to the media about who is calling the plays.

You guys are totally naive if you think Brady ain’t the one calling plays. Go back and watch the peach bowl. They did an abnormally long camera view of the booth in the second quarter, and even tho both e and Brady are on headsets, the entire time they shows the booth only Brady was talking. Hard to call plays when you don’t say a word between plays.

tbt that could very easily be slinger pointing to a play on the play sheet and Brady relaying it.

Seriously?

While I have no doubt that Brady is a MAJOR factor, your post leaves out quite a bit. Such as:

-Burrow did not have a spring camp

- the play book (however "limited" compared to what we have now), was a learned by Burrow pretty much on the fly

- the Oline went though a MAJOR transition period where dead weight and bad attitudes were shipped off (much to the lamentations of the negas that flooded the board at the time).

-the O line went through a shite load of injuries (actually, a ridiculous amount!). Some idiots said, why go max protect when 5 receiver routes would work better. Hmmmm, maybe because our O line was decimated and we didn't want to get our future Heisman winning QB killed.

The remainder of the personnel on offense had to transition out of "Air Canada" mode

Look, Brady (and Burrows development) have been the crux of this unprecedented run imho, but to make moronic statements with ZERO substance needs to be called out.

I get that you are a "Les" man and hate all things Orgeron (meaning by extension Emsminger), but it is obviously clouding your memory of what was LSU 2018.

E was in no shape to call plays. Brady was shown holding the sheet multiple times.

You could just tell too. The aggression, lack of designed QB runs.
