Burrow Brady Orgeron and several other players and coaches have confirmed the setup of E as the play caller and Brady as the passing game coordinator who suggests plays that Ensminger either accepts or doesn’t.
You can latch onto that one quote from September is you like but it doesn’t change reality. This is not some conspiracy that the entire team and coaching staff has agreed to lie to the media that Brady is really calling plays.

When we had Ensminger calling the plays solo last season, the offense didn’t look like what we’re seeing now. I’m not saying that Brady is calling every offensive play, but it’s not all Steve E. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.
