Mulkey said last week that both will be honored at senior day. They told her before season that thi was their last in college. Could change but that was from the coaches mouth.

Maason should have stayed. Mocks have him going in 6th or 7th round. He will have to take a pay cut if that is true.

If Alexis Morris can’t make a roster HVL surely can’t.

WTF does this have to do with women's basketball?

She can play and is very popular. If the WNBA wants butts in the seats she will be on a team.

I think they are saying Maason should have stayed and it would be wise for Reese and HVL to stay as well.

I have no opinion on what is best for them, but I'd love to see them both return. I believe HVL would make a roster, but it would suck if she left early only to get cut like Alexis did. I assumed women players would be happy to play four years in college. Mainly because the pro career might not even be there.

If they like money for playing basketball they should stay. Otherwise they will have to get real jobs.

If he gets off the ball like he did this year in the pros, he is going to get destroyed.

I agree. I doubt she stays.

From what I have seen it sounds like Reese is also ready to move on, but for some reason I question her desire to play in the WNBA. I'm sure she would play in the league for a little while, but it sounds like her ultimate goal is to be some sort of media personality.

I have yet to watch a WNBA game, but with Angel, Clark, and HVL in the league I think I would watch some of a game or two. Probably just check some highlights.

If he gets drafted, that is about right. If there has ever been a football player at LSU that should have come back, it is Maason Smith. Great TR FR season, misses his entire SO season with a knee injury, and then his RS SO season is truly forgettable. Just a blob in the middle of the line who displays neither his TR FR speed nor power. Maybe he just doesn't like college because if he came back and showed remotely his TR FR talent (assuming he could), then he moves up multiple rounds in the 2025 draft.

She’s not going to make it in the WNBA.

If you are talking about HVL, I don’t think her popularity will get her a job with the WNBA. Alexis was pretty popular too and a better player. She couldn’t make a team.

They will both be completing their 4th years this year. HVL has already graduated and Angel is set to graduate this year. It's because of Covid that they even have this option on a 5th year.

For those thinking that they will suddenly have a lot less money in the WNBA, that's not exactly the case. Most of their big NIL contracts are national and international companies so that will carry over anyway at least initially.

I don't know what's best for them and hope they stay, but a lot of people are helping them with this decision.

Yes, both will complete 4 years college this spring, Angel a bachelors and HVL a masters. Most of their NIL contracts and endorsement deals would continue in the WNBA, like Reebok and Addidas, and likely add more deals in the WNBA due to their mega-popularities. The $$ from their large social media accounts will continue. They will help sell more seats and increased media attention that WNBA sorely needs. Imagine the hyped game between Angel and Clark. Thank you Angel and HVL for giving your all to LSU.

Not even in the same universe of popularity as HVL. She’s a looker too.

HVL worst decision she made was transferring to LSU. She was a sure fire first round pick if she stayed at Louisville. She came to LSU to play second fiddle to a less skilled player in Reese.
