Is it because we have a since of weird insecurity of A&M and A&M has dominated NIL?

We dominate them in every sport but yet our fanbase has a weird insecurity about them

I don’t get it

Do you understand the difference in financial standing between the 2 schools, including alumni?

Less to LSU for guys like Ausberry, Bonnette and Worsham. More to NIL for guys like Boutte, Crews and Adam Miller. Works great for me.

Because compared to A&M we’re a have not in terms of big money donors, and LSU is being left behind bigger spenders.

Speak for yourself...I'm not insecure about A&M and neither is a majority of rational Tiger fans. You are using the rant to draw this conclusion and frankly that is just dumb. This place wanted to put Trindon Holiday and DE.

Let me clarify....MONEY! A&M has a $hit ton of it and LSU and Louisiana is not built for NIL. We have a lower ceiling than most. Tradition and winning has no cache anymore; it was replaced with CASH.

We have a trial lawyer floating us right now. Pray for caps on NIL because it will continue to get worse. I freaking guarantee it.

No because it divides the sport into a bigger classism than it already is where the rich will get filthy rich. It ruins the sport completely. We don't watch NCAA for professional ball. It's actually worse than professional right now because they have no salary cap and no contracts. There's going to be less David vs. Goliath stories if they will ever even exist in NCAA in the future.

Louisiana has a ton working against it for NIL. LSU will do everything they can to compete they just can't. But define compete? If it's with the top 25 or the top 5 or even top 10? Because you're not getting anywhere to compete in the top 5-10 with money. Lord help us if the other money universities jump in that don't care about football and all of a sudden do. Bigger money schools are already deciding to get dirty like TAMU. It's why LSU continues to not lead for any of the top guys every week. Why the hell would they come here even if you're putting together a competitive package? There's more to your brand than just a money bag thrown on your lap. There's other opportunities. Imagine the NIL opportunities Los Angeles can put together for recruits. What are they going to do in Louisiana? Slap yo mama hot sauce in a state that's terrible economically in a small market?

The reason I hate NIL is that it reduces my love for College Football. I used to love to think that players played for the thrill of the competition, and took pride in playing for their school.

Even if that was an illusion it was a believable illusion. My thought on it has changed, and now I see the majority of them as mercenaries only.

It cheapens what I thought of the college game, and my interest in it has really tumbled. I may have watched 1 game all last year, and I used to spend the whole Saturday watching not only LSU , but many other games.

Pro has already been ruined for me, and haven't watched a game after 2017. Now I’m afraid it will be the same with NCAA football, and that makes me sad.

Honestly I would rather them just have a minor pro league, and let the ones who want to go play in it. I'd rather keep the college game more like it was, and watch lesser talented amateur players that want to play for their school do so.

A&M is not using NIL the right way. They will be exposed very soon just watch. Bjork is a fraud. Jimbo is not what people think he is. Wouldn’t say complete fraud but not the guy for the job.

Just wait until Texas comes to the big table. They will be the final nail in the coffin to put A&M in their place. They poked LSU, poked Bama, burned all their bridges in this conference.

Funny thing, A&M was never known for low blow stuff until Bjork and Fisher came along. Between the 7 OT post game incident, treating that win like it was a super bowl, the Covid Florida game capacity, forfeiting the bowl game, then Fisher slandering Saban. You’re done Aggies. Just hope you understand, any pull you might have had in this league is out the window. We’re all going to side with Texas in any squabbles because we know how you people are.

A&M is the last school I would be insecure about. I think the insecurity might come from being named Alec

I couldnt care less about A&M. as long as jimbo is the coach they will be a 8-9 win team. i dont like NIL because i dont feel like LSU is very good at it yet. and we are very much behind the 8 ball. at least thats what it feels like

A&M has had a huge financial advantage for years when it came to hiring football coaches, upgrading facilities and funneling money to players through boosters. They haven't won a NC in football since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor while LSU is a missed Oklahoma State FG away from 4 NC's in the last 19 seasons. I'm not insecure. I find satisfaction in watching them throw all that money around and bragging about it knowing that they have been paying top dollar for mediocrity.

LSU and many other small market schools ought to hate NIL.

Their respective markets will not offer the financial reward that can be brought by the larger markets
