It's long, but a lot of good stuff on DJ breaking through during his time at LSU.

I talked to DJ's parents at Lauberge a few years back when Chark had just committed to LSU. They were decked out in LSU gear and were very excited for his future. They told me that he was the real deal and was going to be a star..good people

I remember losing my shite when he did that because we had seen glimpses during the spring.

His first TD in the bowl game was actual a hand off. Not a catch.

Not bad NFL prospects ahead for the 435th best player in the nation and 59th best WR in his class.

Especially considering that he's more than likely going to be a 2nd round pick.

Wonder why CLM didn't have enough sense to use him and other wide receivers effectively

It's worse than that. He wasn't even ranked in the top 20 at his position.

He shouldn't even answer if his phone rings.

Sounds like an incredible job of talent evaluation by the head coach who signed him.

There is not a coach alive or one that has ever breathed that can evaluate a football player better than the recruiting services that rank thousands of players each year.

I don't know how many the services actually evaluate but Jordan Jefferson was the 2,164 ranked overall prospect. Coaches just can't compete with that. They only see 30 or so prospects to spend one on one time with at a few camps per year. They just don't know what to look for and the services do.

Not exactly sure what that first sentence has to do with your overall point. Services are a lot more in depth than "watching 30 prospects"
