Really glad the SEC umps didn’t decide that game.

LSU lost because of pitching, but had they lost by 1, I would be irate.

The blatant corruption in Birmingham is ridiculous.

We would have still been batting that inning with a man on first and third…

I don’t think it’s corruption. It’s incompetence and it’s systemic throughout baseball. Always has been. Always will be. Hence the need for the ABS systems.

Did we ever get an answer on the interference when Jackson was trying to steal 3rd?

Leaned into the pitch/dead ball?

incompetence
if that was incompetent decision making I'd hate to see how far they would go to cheat.

That call was a blatant frick you to LSU.

Not one umpire in America would have called that an out unless they were bias. Jmo.

It damn sure seemed that way but the batter interference call was even worse. That dude straight up didn’t move. Exactly what he is supposed to do.

What about the 3 run 5th that was only allowed because of the blown strike 3 call?

It's not "corruption" or "cheating." These guys are just fricking terrible at their jobs. Cue the Skip quote.

Sorry, I already have football on my mind for some reason. I edited it.

My point was merely that yes, we are bad. We lost the game because we can’t pitch and are not clutch, not because of the umps, however the reversal at first when the 1st baseman was clearly off the bag was blatant and overturned by Birmingham. HAD we played better and lost by 1, it would have been infuriating. Thankfully Guidry took care of that.

That stealing machine on Georgia stole 3rd and the ump callled batter interference on UGA batter. Dude literally never moved in the batters box and some how it was ruled interference.
