This should never be the case when it comes to LSU football. It is inexcusable, and only adds fuel to the fire as to why Kelly is a horrible fit here.

His teams her have no identity. Toughness itself can be identity, but that comes with confidence that you do something well. The closest we have had to one is just leaning on Jayden to win games for us. The rest of the time it’s been aimless football.

We don’t just abandon the run game, we never establish it. Completely reactionary on defense. Hard to be tough when you don’t know what you want to do.

I find myself asking “would we be any worse with no coach at all?” When House was here, I don’t think we would have been. The last 3 possessions against Vandy? wtf was that?

We need to get an angry S&C coach, that would be a start.

Agree, when you watch Bama and Georgia you see a different level of toughness, aggressiveness and coaching. Pretty easy to see!
If Scott Woodward can’t see that then we have even more issues.
LSU must take action, sooner rather than later. Time to start laying off staff.

quote:

Perkins disgraced the 7 jersey Saturday . Dog shite effort, getting manhandled in the run game, taking awful blitz angles and consistently losing containment on pavia. With whit out it was his job to step up as a leader and set the tone. Instead, he was arguably the worst defensive player on the field he was that awful.

Not arguably, definitively he was the worst. Harold Perkins, LB – 41.4 PFF was the lowest of any defensive player and 2nd lowest on the team. Imagine being graded lower than Chester and Weston Davis.

Looks that way indeed. Granted, I have seen some crazy upsets over my 49 and 3/4 years roaming this Earth. I’ll be rooting hard for my LSU Tigers that I’m certain. We shall see.
