Reality is LSU is an average basketball team at best

If you take an objective look at the season, LSU is lucky to have the record they have. The facts speak for themselves. We have two horrible losses to Vandy - the worst team in the SEC - and Utah State! The only two quality wins are over Florida and Arkansas - two average SEC teams at best. We could easily have three more losses or more if the ball bounces the other way.

The reality is the SEC is having a horrible year overall and LSU's record - although impressive if you just look at Ws and Ls - is very misleading. We're not a great basketball team and I question if we're even a good team. Good teams don't build leads and watch them evaporate every game. Good teams know how to put away inferior teams and dominate the entire game.

In my opinion, Will Wade is the problem! He's a great recruiter and knows how to pay the players, but he's not a good game day coach. He gets out-coached just about every game and LSU barely ends up winning. We have better talent and athletes than most teams we play, but our coach is average at best and the Auburn game proved it. Pearl made adjustments and Wade had no answer. Instead, every player on the team is chunking up threes trying to match Auburn. We totally throw out the game plan that got us the lead and start playing street ball and it doesn't work! LSU will most likely make it into the tournament simply because the SEC is very weak, but our run in the tournament will be very short!
