re: Realism for LSU Fans with McMahon and Program

The last 4 years of recruits didn’t all play together. Again this isn’t football where you can stack 3 years of 20+ signees together and recruiting rankings aren’t the same. There’s a reason a 13-14 Auburn team was ranked in the top 15 pre season despite having the 72nd class and 5 new starters while LSU was ranked in the upper 40s despite the #6 class finishing, 8 wins better and having the most SEC wins over the previous 3 seasons.

Again you don’t understand basketball recruiting. Unless you have a lottery prospect all those rankings do is project to competitive talent. LSU, despite most players outperforming their recruiting rankings has had 1 first round pick under Wade. Kentucky has had 14, Bama and Tennessee have had 3-4 each, Vanderbilt has had 2 and other SEC schools have had as many or more than us. You’re projecting football onto basketball when they’re nothing alike.

The evidence was documented. You can deny verbal stuff, but not texts and account statements. Denial wouldn’t have prevented anything and likely made matters worse.

And I’m not defending what Wade did or upset he was fired, he should’ve been fired. I’m talking about LSU and what’s been done over the past 5 years. He calls it mediocrity but it was good enough to win an SEC title, finish near the top of the conference in wins (#1 before this season), get to a Sweet 16, get within a bucket from an SEC tourney title and get us to qualify for 4 straight NCAA tourneys. That hasn’t happened in 29 years here so objectively he’s just flat out wrong.

So now you’re just gonna lie? I never said top 10 classes didn’t mean anything and I told you in 2018, you’re an Orgeron sycophant btw, if the offense was run through Burrow and the WRs we have a chance and after the spring game said we’d have a chance in 2019. You’re simply lying now and that’s very telling.
