Tell them even low ranking Moo State can make duck soup out of them. We're SEC!

Any Oregon fan that makes that statement is really saying "we didn't play well against LSU but we are back on track now". They forget how awesome our defense really is.

No honest Duck fan is saying that. In fact, there is a game day thread on addictedtoquack and you can read their comments - the ones that watched the game.

You should have told them to go read "Fowl Chronicles 9:27-40".

Oregon's offense and defense played better than Moo State at a neutral site. We would beat Miss State and be favored.

Their offensive line gave a bigger push and our secondary was way better.

Oregon > MSU

If LSU converts in the red zone last night (with more imaginative play calling), we win by 21+ on their home field

We got really really conservative in the red zone last night, partly b/c Miles & Co knew that 10 points was gonna win that game.

I agree with this. Oregon's secondary was much better than I had anticipated too. Our receivers were dropping passes like crazy because Oregon's corners were all in their faces.
I do believe Oregon and Moo St. would be a great game to watch. I think Oregon could take them though. Moo St. proved they were scared of our running game and stacked the box every down, thus opening up the passing game. If they played that D against the Ducks, I think Oregon would blow them up.
Still, 2 great teams and 2 great victories for our Tigers.

They wouldn't do that against the Ducks.

I would have been tempted to say something along the lines of "Unlike playing an easy arse whipping with you all, last night was two BIG BOY TEAMS playing each other. Besides, when you shut down the rushing game like we did last night, you have done something. Anywaym, we;re 3-0 and you're not."

Whatever makes them feel better.

We beat MooSt by 13. We beat Oregon by 13.
If "barely winning last night" lets them pretend we "barely won" on Sept. 3rd and it helps them sleep better at night, so be it.

I agree, the person who started this thread didn't do much reading. Most comments from that side of the fence have been mostly about how impressed they are with LSU defense. I will say they are torn between wanting them to win because of SOS and wanting them to lose because of peoples perception of LSU fans being the worst they ever encountered in Dallas.
