I know this has been an ongoing topic this year, But I feel like these next two games presents the perfect opportunity to give Emery, TDP and maybe even Curry at least 5 carries each to get them acclimated to SEC ball because Clyde is mostly likely gone after the season

Dude, have you lost your damn mind? CEH needs to play to stay in the groove, he needs to keep it going. We need him to roll. If we get up by a couple scores over the next few weeks pull him so there is no injury. But give the man the damn ball!

Against Arky there probably will be more of the freshman but since we'll be without both tackles against OM it's gonna be mostly Clyde.

Why do threads like this start weekly! CEH is clearly our RB and should be until he definitely declares. Get the HS recruiting stars out of here and watch the team. CEH is a boss!

Side note...Curry shouldn't get 5 carries because that dude is gone too especially if we bring in another RB in this class.

1st, take your feelings out of it.
2nd, they've had since spring ball or fall camp to state their cases. Those were the perfect opportunities. The same time CEH had his.

1st, their is no feeling beings brought into this topic
2nd, their not getting chances in game to prove they can play, you can only do so much in practice
3rd, you shouldn't need Clyde to be bell cow to beat Ole Piss and the pigs... if we need him than that is a problem

they got chances earlier in the year and didn't show they were ready. I do agree that , if the games are in hand, CEH needs to get as much rest as possible for the SEC championship game

At this point, the only reason you take touches away from CEH is because he could steal some Heisman votes from Burrow...

I disagree in the three games that Emery has gotten more than five carries he's averaged 5 yards a carry, and that isn't including his impact catching the ball and TDP is averaging 4.8 ypc when over 5 carries a game. Like i said they aren't getting a chance.. I understand not playing them when tasked with blocking but come on they are producing when called upon

Not exactly sure on the new red shirt rule, but I believe it is something like 4 games played maximum to qualify. If Emery is still eligible, and we don't have any emergency situation to use him, let's get him into the rotation with Davis Price next year as a RS FR. He's probably, and hopefully, gonna be so good that he goes pro as soon as eligible anyways, but why not give us a chance to get as many years possible out of him given how well CEH and TDP are playing this year?

He’s not saying bench him but there’s no reason he should play 99% of the snaps vs ole miss or Arkansas. Those hits add up.

That is exactly what I'm saying but idiots think I'm saying they should play an even amount of time... He said "we need him to roll" WE DON"T NEED CLYDE TO ROLL in these next two games and if we do then we have a fricking problem

Guess nobody figured out that there is a reason we aren't seeing the young guys, obviously they aren't getting something.

Last time Emery was seen he was being sent off the field by Joe for screwing up a screen play and almost getting Joe killed.

Rule number 1, dont frick up the protection of the qb

Agreed, but getting them some snaps in these next 2 games is valuable imo.

that is also why i said I understand not having them on the field for blocking assignments, but to not give them carries when they are productive is irresponsible
