saint tiger225 I don’t disagree with your comments. I just don’t understand Why you felt the need to have a precursor to your comment such as your STFU to him. He/she has as much right to post his opinion how do you do

paying him to do what exactly? be a DC by title only?

missing out on one of his biggest strengths, and that is cherry picking Louisiana talent?

This would be a nice attempt if you could name a single position coach that makes 900K. You can't though so you just look dumb.

I think LSU allocates the most money to assistant coaches than any other team in the nation

Raymond was not at all happy when they took away his responsibility of coaching the safety position. He has always had total control of the entire secondary since the Miles era. Trust me, he was NOT HAPPY when this changed!

HE GOT A RAISE AND HAS LESS RESPONSIBILITY! In what world would this UPSET amyone?

Not close to Bama or UGA on what coaches are being paid. Not close.

The school (LSU)is paying its assistant football coaches $6.405 million, joining at least three other programs in cracking the $6 million mark: Ohio State ($7.06M), Clemson ($6.585M) and Georgia ($6.42M).

I would be pissed about that to if I were the DB coach, Aranda did not need to do that and looks to be angling for his boy to take over the secondary which is bs of course imo. You are taking away another coaches control over his DB's by interfering in his schemes and philosophy in the secondary on defense. Why the hell is someone needed to specifically coach safeties? They're not.

I'm sure they think he will pull all of Lousiana's stud DBs if he leaves...

LSU Raymond is best DB coach in country $425k/yr

UGA Pittman best OL coach in country and he makes $850k/yr

That is all Pittman does. Pittman will likely get raised over $1mm/yr in 2019.

All offensive line coaches make more than DB coaches.

UGA upped their allocation for assistants by over 2 million dollars after 2017. That won't be happening again after 2018.

Fairly confident UGA will double what Raymond makes now - UGA boosters can ante up better than Bama. Dawgs just saved ton of money by letting Chaney leave and promoting Coley at OC.

Not saying Raymond will leave as he is LSU alum and loyal guy - but LSU’s gonna have to ante up big time.
