He will be fine, give him more chances, most of the punts were not returnable. However, when he jumped on that ball to save 2 yards at most, I cringed. I think that is why no one was back on their last punt.

Do we see someone who is more of a threat to return the ball this week?
He was a very good returner in HS. Be patient and give him a few games to get better opportunities.

Huh?
Try to watch a game without the blinders on, you'll see a lot more.

Wisconsin's punter was awful.
Posted on 9/2/14 at 1:39 pm to SuperFanDan
As long as he doesn't drop the ball, get negative yardage or do anything dumb like diving for the ball on the ground, he'll be fine.

I wouldn't mind seeing Quinn back there.

I saw that too. I'm already tired of seeing Peveto's goofy face on the sidelines. He'll find a way to screw our STs up.

I'm far more concerned about our punter rather than punt returner
that guy booms the ball when he can go for distance, but 'touch' punts seem to escape him a bit.

He really only shanked the first one. Several were downed inside the 20.

We got spoiled with PP7 and HB

I wonder how John Diarse would do?

no way to tell after that game

Beckham was an adventure back there, and Mathieu Didnt do anything of note all year until the ark and Georgia games that we all remember.
Just gotta give it time.

I give him the nod. Ball security over anything. However, on kick return I think we see a new face. Wether it's Dural or Upchurch or whoever. I think Fournette was back there to loosen up more than anything.
