8.75. I like most everything about BK. I think and overlooked consideration is that this is a completely new staff. They had the same learning curve as the players. I feel confident we are poised to be in the mix for years to come

To come into a program that is spiraling downhill fast and turn it around as quick as he has is amazing to me. We literally should be 6-1! BK is smart and confident and he actually coaches!! I give BK a 7 right now but with a win over Ole Miss that will jump way up! Geaux Tigers!!!

Doing a very good job in recruiting and some other areas with our team like culture. You're not seeing selfish players but rather players who are driving hard despite losses.
However, he gets a ding for me because been a lot of questionable decisions and bad coaching efforts in games. Not necessarily all him outside Tenn(which was terrible) but he did make the hires of Polian and Denbrock both of which have been unbelievably underwhelming. I still highly suspect he had something to do with PCing Saturday with a play sheet in front of him because it didn't look the same.
All things considered, I think he's doing a good job with the program right now and definitely headed in the right direction.

Solid 8. Extremely satisfied and happy at the direction of this program.
Obviously special teams is a train wreck. Can't understand the reasoning of Perkins not playing against TN. You can't let another team take away one of your best playmakers.

8.5 if i disregard the first game. everything about that day was... weird

8.5
Lot of the coaching woes are easily fixable. Team is fighting and actually playing hard. Recruiting looks good.
The next 2-3 years will be fun.

I am going to catch flak for this, but I think he is a 5/6 today, but trending up.
Record wise he is outperforming expectations, but this year I am judging him on coaching, recruiting, adjustments, and player improvement, throughout the year
Too early to tell this year where his number ends up, but I have been pleasantly surprised from what I’ve seen. I think he will end up getting an 8ish, depending on Specials Teams improvement and Recruiting finish.

Not a fan of him or his coaching style. Wish we went a younger route

Dude, least my 6 was based in reality. You are mad he isn’t younger?
At least detail what your issues with his coaching style are, people might agree to some extent.

We have some fricking tards on this board. What specifically don’t you like about his style? That he’s not a players coach? You probably think Marcus Freeman would’ve been a better option because the players love him

7.5 and trending up (need to see the final recruiting haul for next year)

This was about grading his performance, not your opinion of him personally or his age.

6/10
The FSU loss, and the home blowout loss to Tennessee really drag down this rating. Special teams issues and Jayden Daniels's very slow development also drag the score down. The 45 points scored and win versus Florida was a good start. The Ole Miss game will say a lot about whether LSU has finally turned a major corner as a team.
