According to a high-ranking source at LSU, the classes have been accepted. This was the major holdup keeping Robinson in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Fla. instead of participating in LSU practices with his future teammates.

"I should be there sometime this week," Robinson said. "I may be able to fly out Monday night or Tuesday morning depending on how quick they (NCAA) make their final review."

the article says

It is unlikely that Robinson would travel to Dallas for the LSU vs. TCU game next Saturday, but it won't be long before he sees the field due to his potential.

Don't assume he's going to red shirt, he's probably the most talented corner since PP7 !!

Those b-----ds at NCAA seem to do this every year to LSU....or am I exaggerating! Seems to come down to the wire every year with someone. It's a conspiracy! lol

This. He'll be ready by the second half of the season. We might need him against Bama and Texas AM

I'm thinking redshirt too. He hasn't gone through strength and conditioning or any plays. He's at least a month behind everyone else.

Of course he can join special teams sooner than later, but I don't know if it's worth it wasting a year of eligibility at corner.

He will probably only be in the program for the required 3 years before becoming NFL draft eligible. Even if he is a special teams stud this year, better to utilize him while we have him.

He will make LSU proud as has PP7.
