Good god, man! You have pissed on players more than anyone who post here in your sickening effort to cover O's arse in any discussion that comes up. You really have no idea YOU are part of the problem.

I don't know. I've enjoyed watching the negas twist into pretzels trying to deflect. They're still doing it.

I get a feeling that most of the Nega Tigers think that they, personally, are judged by someone if LSU loses a game or does not look impressive in victory. It's almost like they expect someone to come over to their residences and make fun of them. So, they are unendingly critical of every thing on LSU teams that - they think - are responsible. It almost always has to be the coaches' faults, right?
People just need to relax and realize that whether LSU wins or not, it's only a ball game. It's way better that we win, but losing a game should not rise to the level of dramatic, awful suffering that many of our posters allow themselves to experience.

Exactly what makes it so interesting. I think Coach O has done a good job this season and have only said I didn't like the vanilla game plans vs SLU and Tech. Yet, some people call me negative and a "hater." It's comical and I enjoy laughing at the twisting of words to try to make stuff people say negative. I'm not sure why it's SO important to some to twist people into haters, but they live for it.
It's really unfair that they've lumped you in the group with me and others.
I make no bones about my criticisms. I've always owned it, and I'm going to keep on doing it as long as I feel like it. I think it's silly that some have tribalized this board into positigers and negatigers because they're simply too simple-minded to know that the fanbase and the world in general is too complex to simply categorize into convenient groups. But they have to group people together to make the world easier to understand I suppose.
But I see you make an effort to be balanced, even though I feel deep down you may not always believe what you're saying, but you're giving the head coach and his crew the benefit of the doubt. It really calls into question the intelligence and objectivity of guys like ben when they say you're just as critical as others are.

I love watching you act oblivious to the fact that bashing our entire offense all year to defend Ensminger is in fact negative.

I agree. TL can be objective. He's actually reasonable.

But it doesn't call into question yours when you actually believe that I've lumped looney in with you all.

This is the problem with the entitlement culture we have today
Has absolutely nothing to do with entitlement culture. Has everything to do with LSU's potential relative to their resources and talent.
There is ZERO reason LSU shouldn't be competing for the West/SEC and the playoff every year.
quote:
People want results yesterday and are unable to appreciate that it takes time to reach goals.
This is true of programs that are in shambles when a new staff takes over. LSU was in GREAT shape when coach O took over. He's coached 30+ games so far and and I don't feel this program is any closer to annually competing for titles than they were during the final years of Miles' tenure.
LSU's goals are to win the West, the SEC and the national title. They have the resources and talent to compete for those goals, but continue to underachieve due to coaching (latter part of Miles' tenure included).
"But we won 10 games this year!"
"But we have a top recruiting class coming in!"
"But we were young!"
"But we had injuries!"
"Just give the players more time to learn the system!"
Some form of the above is stated verbatim EVERY SINGLE YEAR. And every year, LSU fails to be competitive in the race for the division and conference.
Knowing their potential and having expectations that match that potential doesn't make anyone negative, miserable or not a fan of LSU.
Excited LSU won their game against UCF, but 9 win regular seasons isn't going to cut it with how great this program can be if run properly.

It's beyond me why he associates with those bottom feeders. My guess is he feels sorry for them.

That's one of the things that makes college sports different and often better than professional sports. These kids are also more sensitive and vulnerable to comments than adults.

I'm not saying that we should be ultra-careful and never have any fun or meaningful discussion on this board. At the same time, I think people would do well to check their perspective by imagining that their own kid was on the team before hitting the submit button.

“They’re a helluva team” the salty signal caller said. “But as far as a physical game, we play in the SEC every week, I’ve played in more physical games, for sure.”
That's the meat and potatoes for UCF. They are a good team, but LSU faces 5 or 6 good teams, and another 2 or 3 great teams a year. UCF is special when looked at in a bubble, but they are a middle of the pack SEC team.
Give them their QB, and give LSU back their first and second string defensive backfield, and this isn't a game 8 times out of 10.

There's this myth that LSU fans on the Rant are the only college football fans in the country that bitch and moan about their team.
When I criticize, I never direct it at an individual player and seldom at an individual coach. My negative comments almost always deal with discipline (or a lack thereof) or our inability to score in the red zone. It's most often directed at the offense as a whole or the play calling in particular.
I don't support running any kid down on social media.

I think you are being extremely generous in saying 8 out of 10 with LSU with all hands on deck. I don't think UCF scores 17 points in any 10 games. UCF has no running game and that hurt QB of theirs is not making that much of a difference playing a healthy LSU defense IMO.

I've never believed this. Its BS. These guys should know better than to read this shite and actually believe the majority of the fanbase feels a certain way.
I don't believe they waste time on here much and if they do and take shite personally....they need to grow a pair and go somewhere else.
