I'm limiting it to ones that I actually attended, seeing as there are simply too many to pick from otherwise.

1--LSU/USC 1979--this game is well documented on the Rant--#1 USC, Heisman winner Charles White, the "phantom face mask" on 4th down that kept the drive alive in the fourth quarter that beat LSU 17-12. I was a freshman at LSU and a fan, but until that moment, never really knew what college football passion truly was. The crowd stood for much of the game, the noise level was as loud and constant as any game up until the Georgia game 24 years later. I think for an entire game it was louder than the Earthquake game, or maybe just because it was my first "great" LSU game. I think every LSU fan has had some moment like this--an "awakening" if you will.

2-LSU/Oklahoma Jan. 2004 for the National Championship--I was at the 2007/8 game too, but there's nothing like the first time. That fourth quarter was WAY too tense considering how much LSU dominated this game. When that punt rolled out of bounds as the clock ticked down, and I was yelling, "how could those idiots not have a man back to return it?" , a feeling came over me that was similar to when my son was born...an exhilirating rush of how great life could be...

3-Georgia/LSU 2003--everyone touting how GA was the better team, the long GA TD immediately followed by the crowd chanting, "LSU! LSU! LSU!", the ad-libbed Mauck pass to Skyler Green (over the shoulder catch no less)in the corner of the endzone. Simply amazing game.

So many other great memories, so many I couldn't attend (mostly CWS games). As someone said above--it's great to be a tiger fan!
