Was with you until 5. Johansson is hot but I would have had to go with Kate Beckinsale or Elizabeth Hurley.

You do know we had great pitchers before the 2000's, right?

Was actually just going over more recent years, he's for sure probably 1 or 2!

He damn sure isn’t #1, and he’d be the first to tell you that.

Coleman isn’t even in the top 10 much less the top 5. Plenty of top guys had way better stuff

This is right up there with one of the worst opinions I’ve ever heard.

But it’s not.

McDonald
Lange
Nola
Skenes
Anderson
Gausman
Laxton
Ainsworth
Eyanson

Are all arguably better than Coleman. I’d put him at 10

I respect your opinion, but go back and look at Colemans’s bio. Four year guy, multi year all-SEC pitcher, All American, SEC pitcher of the year, and we don’t win the 2009 title without him.

I saw someone listed Lloyd Peever in an earlier post. Best single season ever for a Tiger pitcher. For those not familiar with him go check out his stats for the 1992 season. Unfortunately, CS Fullerton led by Phil Nevin ended the Tigers season that year in the Baton Rouge Regional. Peever also missed two games that season after getting drilled in the head by a ball off an Ole Miss batter.

Peever was awesome Friday night starter… 17-1 record I think? Dude was as legit as anyone in that list, if not more..

For 1992, he transferred to LSU and posted a 14–0 win–loss record, a 1.98 ERA, three complete games and a shutout in 17 appearances (15 starts). In 104.2 innings, he allowed only 67 hits and 20 walks, while striking out 116 batters. His campaign, dubbed "one of the best individual seasons ever in college baseball,"earned him numerous honors and considerable recognition. He was named Collegiate Baseball Player of the Year by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, earned All-American selections by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Baseball America, was voted first team all-Southeastern Conference, earned a selection to the SEC all-tournament team and was twice named National Player of the Week.[2] He was also a Golden Spikes Award finalist.
