I'm not talking strictly numbers. I'm curious where you see the current guys against some of the past greats.
In no order:
Landry
Chase
OBJ
Marshall
Jefferson
Josh Reed

Clayton and Bowe were really good. Both were tough as hell too

Sorry...you can only rank the ones I listed

I’d put OBJ at 1 and Chase 2. The rest are tossups.
OBJ in this offense would’ve been insane

Reed was so great running after the catch he would have had some 300 yard games this season. Same goes for Odell.

I'm older and may be one of the few on here right now that saw Josh Reed play. That dude could get open against any defense!

Clayton was a complete badass and Jefferson always seems to me to be running at full speed - even when he stops.

An actual true RB who converted to full WR in college. That made him more special and even more dangerous after the catch. He was special player, especially during that time. I was always surprised there weren’t more converts like him afterwards.

For me I think Marshall is the wildcard on this list. I'm convinced he would've been our TD reception leader this season had he not gotten hurt. If Jefferson goes pro, I think Marshall and Chase will both put up huge numbers next year.

2 - Josh Reed
3 - Chase
4-5-6 - tie all the rest

Clayton was a beast. He demanded so much attention, that every other receiver was left one-on-one at most. He would be murder in this offense.

Yeah..I didn't think about Clayton when I did this. I also think Lafell would've been a beast in this offense.

Dude was money. If Hodson needed 10 yards for a first down everyone knew he was throwing to Davis but the other team still couldn’t stop it.
