You could just say rank the best players on the team

Not really. We don't have depth at every position. Certainly neither of the quarterbacks would be ranked as one of the five best players, but we can't afford to lose one.

Have little to no depth at DT and MLB, and no experience at CB behind White. If we lose any of those top 3 guys, we would severely struggle on D.

We have good depth all across the offense, minus QB. And if 1 of the QBs emerge and become a legit QB, they would be higher than 6th. And our identity is the ground and pound on offense and we have good depth at RB, but LF is the fricking man and is about to carry this O and is our best offensive player.
