Im not sure if this has been said before, but this comes from somebody that was at the bar and I trust. Supposedly the "marine" clocked Brad Wing in the face in the bar earlier in the night....Wing did have a fat lip at practice

The story i got from my aunt who knows the boy driving the trucks mom:
He told his mom that when the horn was blown some racial comments were thrown out which sparked some shite talking. meanwhile he got out of his truck on his own (NOT DRAGGED OUT). This doesn't surprise me. I know his dad released a statement the other day saying JJ left right before everything went down.
My opinion on the matter involved several facts.
1. He is one of the more noticeable players on the team and because of that, if he was around at any point, people are more likely to point him out.
2. He is one of the most unpopular LSU QBs in the history of LSU football. Someone could easily throw his name in there simply because they rather see another QB play (sounds extreme, but its the LSU fan base we are talking about).
Just think about all the different stories that have been told on here. The only thing that has been remotely concrete (oxymoron?) is the fact someone got beat up while leaving the parking lot, in his truck.
There are supposedly 4 victims, but the most consistent story involves a guy getting pulled out of his truck and another guy jumping in to help him. It has been said that JJ kicked the guy, but there was rarely any story that mentioned Landry, other than possibly something that happened in the bar.
Being that Landry is a freshman and has not really been a face in the media, if he was doing anything, he was just someone in the crowd (as for as witnesses are concerned).
Wasn't there reports that Ron Brooks and Ego Ferguson got into it with each other? What about Wing, didn't someone say he got punched or something? It sounds like the "victims" had a story they were sticking to, which might not have been accurate.
The whole thing just seems to be too foggy to the point, I doubt no one will never really know what actually happened, which is common in any type of bar room related brawls..

If JJ really wasn't involved, you'd think LSU would have been more proactive about defending him for the past 5 days. LSU PR has dropped the ball on this if true. You don't let your starting QB get drug through the mud for 5 days if not involved.
