Random and unsolicited praise for CEO

I guess since I have been a huge critic of CEO that something like this should happen to me. I was in a local business wearing an gold LSU t-shirt with the old tiger's head logo i.e. the good one. One of the managers saw it and said, "Quite a game yesterday." I asked whether he was a Tiger fan to which he responded, "No. I am a fan of your coach. He is a good human being who really cares about his players and he is a good coach and leader of men. He should have gotten the SC job."
I was dumbstruck for a moment before I could gather myself enough to say something like, he is doing something right given the results this year.
I thought the board would want to know.

Mr. Ree, I do not recall saying that I hate 0. If you can provide documentation, I will issue an apology forthwith. I would not have hired him and still would rather have someone else, but he is producing results for now. My bar is SEC championship or better OR bust as head coach for LSU. This is the same I would demand of any other person coaching the Tigers.
Since we're on the subject of LSU employees, would you care to explain to everyone on the board whether and what your relationship with LSU is?

It seems that some USC fans are not happy with Helton, though they did beat Colorado last night.
A few years ago, some wanted Orgeron to be the coach there after he did pretty well as an interim coach.
