In The Advocate sports, Rabalais notes that “LSU has reasons for optimism and concern” He pointed to Burrow likely carrying the ball more, exposing him to more hits and chance for injuries, he also mocked Brennan’s weight gain, his “body by buffet.” Rabalais pointed to LSU’s enormously talented secondary but also noted “the depth at cornerback is a serious concern.” That its great to have three entrenched players on the Oline but having an an injury here, it’s like dominoes, one wobbly piece takes the whole thing down.”

I don’t get the negativity, LSU in 2019 has more talented depth than in any in recent memory. Sorry Scott but your article is a big failure. No need to dream up drama, Mrs. Queen.

well he's not wrong but key injuries can derail just about any college football team's season.

I didn’t post the link because his BS doesn’t deserve the clicks, Recognize what LSU has achieved which the article does not. Greater depth on this team than any I can recall.

These seem like pretty innocuous opinions. What a weird thing to get up in arms about.

JB will carry the ball less this year IMO. Brennan gets ample playing time too.

Having an opinion is one thing, mocking Brennan’s weight gain is another.

I would have liked a link to to get some context. If you think its BS why post it at all?

Are you seriously not concerned about dB depth behind Vincent, Fulton? There are true frosh everywhere after them.

Kristian Fulton 6-1 190 sr
------Maurice Hampton 6-0 195 fr
------Cordele Flott 6-1 185 fr
------Jay Ward 6-1 180 fr

------Derek Stingley 6-1 195 fr
Kary Vincent 6-0 185 jr
------Raydarious Jones 6-1 180 fr

60% of those frosh are under 175 lbs by the way. I fudged their weights in anticipation for some moffit.

And then to say that Brennan’s weight/physique is not a concern would have me saying this:

“Is any man not allowed to bring up concerns? I don’t care about any articles he ran in the past, these are legit concerns of you want to win the sec.”

Everyone calm down. It’s an article about deficiencies, not a negative article about the character in r morality of the team.

Maurice Hampton can start now, that’s how talented he is.
