You have to have the Direct TV sports package to get it here in Louisiana.

Someone posted yesterday that Dish got rid of all fox sports channels.

You don't have to have sports pack to get the game. It's on FS Southwest+. It's channel 677 and 677-1 in Louisiana. You should get that channel as part of your RSN without the sports pack.

DISH is in the middle of a contract dispute with FOX over all of their sports networks. FOX pulled the channels because DISH wouldn't pay the higher price they were asking.

I wasn't even aware of this until just now. I went to Dish' FoxSports Southwest channel (416) and saw this. I guess I won't get to watch LSU this weekend. frick!

In Louisiana you will get it on Fox Sports Southwest. However, in Dallas, I am willing to be that FSSW will have a Big 12 game on instead.

Yes, FS Southwest will have a Big 12 game on. The LSU game will be on FS Southwest+ which is channel 677 and 677-1.

Check and see if you can view channel 420 on Dish. I don't have Dish but looking at their online program guide the game will be on that channel. Not sure if it was affected by the Dish/Fox dispute.

Me too. I will be in Fredericksburg, TX and want to know what channel. Not sure if my Dad has Dish or Direct TV. He lives out in the boonies, so no cable for him.

FSN name covers all of the Fox Sports regional networks. Some will have the LSU game, some will have the OK game, and others will have local basketball or hockey and so on. I have found the LSU game listed on Fox Sports South and Ohio. Southwest and Houston list OK game. I think your local cable company can choose to show the local team on the Fox Sports channel even if in other areas a different game is schedules to be shown. For example Fox Sports Southwest or Houston in Louisiana will let cable providers show LSU game even if everywhere else the channel will show the OK game.
For DirecTV and you have Southwest or Houston FSNs you may be able to see game on alternative RSN channel (more likely in Louisiana but in Texas you may have to buy the package of all the regional sports networks). Or like HuskerFan182 says see it on the plus channel 677 on DirecTV. My guide has not updated to show any info for southwest plus yet and have not checked online, but HuskerFan182 seems to know more about the plus channels and what they end up showing.
