Question/Clarification about the upcoming SEC vote

Is the SEC voting to determine if it can SPECIFICALLY kick LSU out?
Or are they voting to determine if they have the power to kick ANY member out?
My current understanding is that it is the former but I am not sure
The latter would make a little more sense by the SEC asserting overall authority but only applying the vote to a single school seems dubious.

Sankey doesn't even know.

They don’t know. This is like a bunch of deranged liberals protesting something and they have no clue what they are protesting. They were told to do it so they do what they are told.

The SEC believes it has the power and authority to expel. LSU dared to challenge them so they intend to expel LSU. But, they are going to court to try to limit the blow back, and create legal cover for an irrational act. They will fail. The blow back will be massive. They already sense it. Otherwise, this lawsuit wouldn't be happening.

There are too many conflicting reports on the subject. From what I hear is that the vote is to actually dismiss but they won't act on it. However, at 1:00pm we will find out if the Federal Court in Alabama is corrupt. On its merit the whole thing should be dismissed but this whole thing stems from the SEC being bothered by how LSU had a meeting at the Governors mansion relating to the private equity which meant LSU could potentially not need the SEC. So stupid.

That makes a lot more sense to me. This level of an issue does not warrant expulsion. At worst maybe some personal disciplinary actions or fines.

Nothing happened in the private equity meeting yet and nothing happened in the players instance...no form of punishment needs to happen. Again, I wish LSU would never have pushed the boundary. Because we didn't need the players but if it had been Ole Miss this wouldn't have gone this far which is the part that drives me nuts.
