Guys Chad Jones was listed at 6'3 231 I was right about him. I was off on Landry chill out. And Chavis is known for using light speedy OLB. I actually have a life and don't memorize all of LSU's rosters.
My point is right now LSU doesn't have a big killer SS. Hatcher takes sucky angles!!!! Reid possibly.

I wouldn't worry, I'll put money that Cooper and Chief know what to do with that position.

Honestly Tyrann was about listed at 175 coming out of high school and was listed at the beginning of this year at 180 lbs. A guy who is 5'8-5'9 at 180 lbs with his body type is probably prob not putting on too much more weight nor should he. He may get a little bigger for next season but that is 5 to 10 pounds at most. There aren't too many if any starting linebackers in the county much less in the SEC who are 5'9 185 lbs.

As for safety. Jones and even Landry are actually quite large for safeties. Normal NFL Safety is prob around 6'0 205.

The science department has gotten a grant from TAF to begin breeding these guys together in a top secret facility somewhere in the swamp.

Next few years? I'd say the next 5 or so years.

I meant with Loston and Reid playing the safety spot and P.J. playing center.

Coach Studs likes to have players learn both OC and OG. T-Bob will come in if needed this next year. Fordham and maybe the Porter kid may be the next two in line.

Chad Jones started the Season at 230 but lost weight as he went, because he had been "a lazy pitcher" all summer. he was still pretty big at 220 being his optimal weight.

BTW i know Mathieu is a beast, but was assuming he might get moved to OLB.
Mathieu will never be OLB at 5'10" 180

I posted this in another thread:

Shep came in to the bowl practice at 250#. Talked with a NFL Analyst today, he was at the bowl game. He said that Shep impressed many scouts there. He picked up the terminology from the start, moved people in the right place on the line and is a player that can start on Special Teams from day one. Many teams took notice of him. Having played under Bo and Chief was a major plus.

So I know T-bob has a year or to left and lonergran does too. Who is scheduled to be the next CENTER Fordham?? Also are we looking at a big time SS Landry and Jones were both 6'4 220 coming out of high school, it seems like all the guys we have now are toothpicks.

So much fail in this post it hardly warrants a response.

I hope K. Hatch gets moved to OLB. As for TM if he does get moved to OLB it will be on a high school team

This is the move I want to see. He will excel their I believe.

As for T-Rex, at that size there is no way that he can have the title of OLB, BUT he does play there in the Mustang package.

Pretty much proves my point. A lot of people throw around ht and wt numbers.

Going into 2010 i saw plenty of threads worrying about our lbs and their size. We turned out just fine.
