Question about a play from last night's game

An Arkansas player was whistled for a charge, then the refs went to the monitor and changed it to a shooting foul on LSU and counted the shot.
I thought those types of plays aren't reviewable?

They claim the change of call came from the officials coming together and discussing it, the replay was to confirm fouler and foulee

Saw a tweet saying they had two refs with conflicting calls so that's why they reviewed it.
Did the ball actually go in? I didn't pay attention to that and was surprised the basket counted.
Felt that was pretty straightforward.

Ball did go in. It was 2 with a foul shot for 3.

I think reviewing whether a player is in the restricted zone is within the rules

He had one foot in, one foot out. Guess that means he was in?

Only in final 2 minutes and not for body control call

It is but only within the last few minutes of the game. Not sure on the exact time but I think its the last 2 minutes.

i missed the play but were they checking to see if the feet were inside the restricted area?

It was a botched job by the refs. They clearly got persuaded by the replay/Mike Anderson to change the call. Claimed they changed the call after huddling about it, but that happened after the replay.
You cant go back and change a call after looking at replay, then huddling, then 3 minutes later decide you missed the ball and change it.

Don't care
It took half a season but the players are finally learning how to take those charges and avoid them on the offensive end.

Wade made his displeasure known. Even non lip readers could catch the "that's bull shite"
