Let me guess, you've closely followed his career?

Yes. My brother goes to Baylor. He’s not good.

Let's see, guy threw TDs in 3 games, threw INTs in 5 games. Do not want.

He is actually really talented. Problem is he is a big slow pocket passer and Baylor had an absolute joke of an offensive line. Ultimately Baylor had to go with the younger QB who could run. Smith has had a few really good games (Boise state and OU). By all accounts he is a good kid and a lot has changed since he signed. I wish him well wherever he goes.

At this point, it's Foster or bust. If we're really not getting Foster, then Smith wouldn't be a terrible insurance guy - we're down to Brennan, LN (whose knees may preclude a lot of production) and, maybe, McMillan. A single injury eliminates any options we would have.

I saw him in a game vs playoff-bound Oklahoma (yes, that Oklahoma) and he looked pretty good.

Is there any possibility he could transfer to LSU?

If he does, he must be blind.
