You are officially a dumb arse

They are not equal in running ability.

See, Finley has played one game and got 2 first downs and a TD w his feet. We pretty much didn’t ask him to get anything on the ground once they respected his ability to do it

Brennan got a bruised shoulder, and a possible hip
surgery w ZERO yards gained and no actual rushing attempts in 3 games. We couldn’t even get it in the end zone from 1 yard out to WIN a game w 4 doens to do it

O told you and everyone that we called the same plays that we did for Burrow, but Brennan couldn’t execute them.

So, to recap, TJ is not a good runner, but he is a threat to carry the ball

Brennan is NOT

Of the 3 QB, MJ appears to be the most Mobile.

Lie. Take out sacks and Brennan is averaging more YPC than Finley but that doesn't fit your narrative.

Are you pretending there weren't clear differences in offensive line play and play calling?

I agree, Brennan really isnt a threat to carry the ball if he doesnt get plays called designed for him to carry the ball.

It’s nothing to do with his running ability/speed

It’s everything to do with the ability to allow the QB to run

It doesn’t matter what Myles runs in the 40, when we can’t call plays that require him to run, or that allow him to take a hit as a runner

He also doesn’t possess the physical tools to shed a rusher and still have the arm strength to make them pay by hitting the open man that wasn’t covered by that rusher

I’ve been saying this since the beginning of the season. They don’t get it.

I thought it'd be interesting to look at high school numbers just to compare.

Brennan: 6.1 YPC
Finley: 1.2 YPC

Dude, really?

I didn’t even think Finley would/could carry the ball based on his high school numbers

But I actually saw him do it vs the likely best front 7 we’ve faced this year

I watched Brennan vs the weakest teams and I am positive he will NEVER be a threat to run and no one will respect him as such

They will actually invite him to step into their box. LOL

How do you know? You just said he hasn't had any rushing attempts.

I am NOT saying he is Cam, but there is a YouTube video of TJ about his recruitment. There was a scene from practice & he was standing in the shotgun, calling signals. He looked and sounded just like Cam. I am not sure if I want him to be like Cam, because I really don’t like that dude.

I think you and I are pulling for the same team

I recommend you come to terms with the fact that our best chance to win will be with a QB that the other team has to respect as a viable threat to run

If your fandom is dependent upon Brennan taking the snaps, I suggest you look at possible transfer options

Perhaps this is why he had early success running the ball

Maybe Muschamp felt the same way.

May the best man win.

My problem is that people act like Finley is a much better running threat than Brennan and there's simply no proof to back this up.

Hell, Myles averaged 4.6 YPC last season.

Why are you so willfully ignorant

If he was a runner, he has had ample opportunity to display it

You think we told him don’t get that 1st down or TD?

Man, what is ur problem picking up what I’m laying down

It’s frickin obvious

Finley is nothing like Cam in any manner.

Look, Mrs Brennan, I didn’t want LSU to be 1-2, losing to the likes of Miss St and Mizzou either

But it is what it is

He ran for seven yards against Mizzou and got injured.

1. He was injured

2. Our offensive line was getting whipped that day, did you miss that part?

You're laying down a bunch of reactionary and emotional statements and not really many facts.

I find it interesting that many of you keep pretending that the team didnt play much better overall yesterday in ways that had nothing to do with Finley even though Finley played lights out.

We haven't seen Brennan get the benefits of that better play or that playcalling.

If LSU's defense and offensive line plays like they did last night, all season, LSU is 4-0.

True or false?

Finley and/or Johnson will get the majority of the snaps from here on out, unless we have been saving Brennan’s running abilities (after 2 losses), and he throws caution to the wind, risking injury.

After Finley’s performance last night, he has nothing to lose. Myles be nimble, Myles be quick

Well this statement, again, is simply your opinion

You're overlooking several things.

1. There was no film on Finley.

2. The major knock against Finley is that he isn't mobile, not surprising that South Carolina didnt respect his running ability.

3. I'm not really sure you want Finley taking many more hits than Brennan. Dude got hit like 6 times total last night and was already gimpy. Long legs like he has present a lot of risk for knee and leg injuries, especially at his weight. Sure, he's a large guy, he isnt built like a Tebow or Cam.

There was a lot more to it than that

Carry on.

More to it than “Sets up defense, gains yards” ?
