I like what I’m seeing so far from the first team D outside of the busted play. We’re also playing Jared Small at LB, so that may have been who busted the crosser

Watching these games and praising the offense or defense is silly as if one is succeeding the other is not.

A couple of plays, Max had no options. I’ll chalk that up to the defense playing great coverage. But also because we’re passing more. Can’t give TDP too many carries with a short handed backfield.

I really like Max in the pocket. Burrow made our O-line look a LOT better than it was in 2019. Max might be able to do a little bit of something similar in 2021.

I’ve seen a couple of really nice plays in right coverage from Ward and McG so far. The O Line also looks pretty good, and we know this D Line is the best we’ve had in a few years. Pretty encouraging start.

Yea it looked like miscommunication between the two Middle LBers. They both picked up the crosser that came back right and left Boutte open.
