No one is saying it, but it’s absolutely awesome backup to keep expectations high.

The only ones talking about Jimbo to LSU are the melting Aggies. It's premised on the assumption that O bombs out in the next couple years. Obviously premature right now.

If the football team loses 3 games this year Ed On is out and Jimbo is in

I agree. There is no head coaching vacancy. The truth is Ed Orgeron is doing a good job right now, I understand people will hate him no matter what, but I feel good about right now. Now if this LSU football team goes 9-3 next season then we can talk, but right now I like where we are at. All I can say is the Jimbo thing is nice to have in our back pockets if next year doesn’t go as planned.

O and Ponamsky are so worried right now, that EdO will no doubt seize control of the 'new' offense, at the first sign of trouble

O shouldn’t be on a hot seat because he hasn’t warranted it yet but I would be willing to bet his leash got shorter with these changes. All he has to do is meet expectations this year and he will be fine. Now if he has a bad year this year then all bets are off which wouldn’t have been the case under Alleva because Alleva was tied to O.
