PSA to fans in Orlando re: Tolls

Please be aware that Orlando has a lot of toll roads. Our roads use transponders but if you don't have one, you must carefully merge right to the toll lanes. Be careful.
I saw two SUV's full of Tigers on the 429 headed to Disney nearly cause an accident. They just stopped in 70 MPH traffic and cut across two lanes.
If you miss a toll, just safely drive through it. They will mail you a bill to your house.

Thanks much for the warning but you do know none of us in LA can drive, toll or no toll, right?

So, just regular Baton Rouge driving?

Also, for those of you that use Google Maps for navigation, there is an option called "Avoid Tolls" which will re-route you if its possible. This way you will not be caught by surprise when you come upon one.

Trust me, they can't drive here as well.

Just pay the toll or have it mailed to you when you drive through the express lane. Veering off into town in Orlando can cost you a lot of time or a ticket from the traffic light cameras.
Those traffic light cameras are all over the place and are always cheating folks out of money. If you do, stop completely behind the line even on a right turn.

Or just ignore the "ticket" they send you

If you have a rental car, there are normally extra fees tacked on by the rental car company. They aren't usually significant, but FYI.

Why would you design a toll road like this? In Texas they just read your license plate. No need to be in the correct lane. You can also get a toll tag to put on your car and it saves you a little money per mile.
